Parc Broekhuizen highly values your privacy. Therefore, we only process data necessary for our service and its improvement. We handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with great care. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes other than those mentioned below. This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the related services of Parc Broekhuizen. The effective date of these terms is 25/05/2018. With the publication of a new version, the validity of all previous versions expires. The privacy policy describes which data we collect, what this data is used for, and with whom and under what conditions this data may be shared with third parties. We also explain to you below how we store your data, how we protect it against misuse, and what rights you have regarding the personal data you provide us with. Special and/or Sensitive Personal Data
We do not process special and/or sensitive personal data. Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors under the age of 16 unless they have permission from parents or guardians. However, we cannot check if a visitor is over 16. We, therefore, advise parents to be involved in their children’s online activities to prevent data collection without parental consent. If you believe that we have collected personal data about a minor without such consent, please contact us at info@parcbroekhuizen.nl and we will delete this information.
Automated Decision-Making
Parc Broekhuizen does not make decisions on matters that could (significantly) affect individuals based on automated processing. These are decisions made by computer programs or systems, without human intervention.
Purpose of Data Processing
General Purpose of Processing
We exclusively use your information for the purpose of our services. This means that the purpose of processing your data is always directly related to the instructions provided by you. We do not use your information for (targeted) marketing other than as stated in this privacy policy. If you share data with us and we use this information to contact you at a later moment – other than at your request – we will explicitly ask for your permission. Your data will not be shared with third parties, except to meet accounting and other administrative or legal obligations. These third parties are all bound to secrecy by contract, oath, or legal obligation.
Parc Broekhuizen collects and processes your data for the following purposes:
• Processing your or our payments
• Sending our newsletter and/or advertising brochure
• To call or email you when necessary to carry out our services
• Informing you about changes to our services and products
• Delivering goods and services to you
• Analysing your website behaviour to improve the website and tailor our range of products and services to your preferences
• Processing personal data if we are legally obliged to do so, such as data needed for tax declarations
Retention Period of Personal Data
Parc Broekhuizen retains your data for as long as we maintain a business relationship. This means that we keep your data until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. Following applicable legal obligations, we must store, among other information, invoices containing your personal data. However, Parc Broekhuizen will not retain your personal data longer than strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it is collected. Data automatically collected by our website is processed with the aim of further improving our services. This data (e.g. your IP address, web browser, and operating system) is not personal data.
Sharing of Personal Data
Parc Broekhuizen does not sell your data to third parties. We enter into data processing
agreements with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality for your data. Parc Broekhuizen remains responsible for this processing.
MailChimp
Our email newsletters are sent using MailChimp. MailChimp will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. At the bottom of every email sent automatically via our website, you will see the ‘unsubscribe’ link, which you can use to unsubscribe. By doing so, you will no longer receive our newsletter. Your personal data is securely stored by MailChimp. MailChimp uses cookies and other internet technologies that provide insight into whether emails are opened and read. MailChimp reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and, in this context, to share information with third parties.
iDEAL
To process (part of) the payments in our webshop, we make use of the platform iDEAL via ING. iDEAL via ING processes your name, address, residence details, and payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. iDEAL via ING has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. iDEAL via ING reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and to share (anonymized) data with third parties for this purpose. In the case of an application for a deferred payment (credit facility), iDEAL via ING shares personal data and information regarding your financial position with credit rating agencies. All of the safeguards mentioned above regarding the protection of personal data also apply to iDEAL via ING’s services for which third parties are used. iDEAL via ING does not store your data longer than permitted by legal terms.
Reservations
Reserving a table at Restaurant Voltaire* or Bistro LOF is done via Resengo. We have a processor agreement with Resengo to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data.
Reviews
We collect reviews through various platforms. When leaving a review, you are required to provide your name, place of residence, and email address. Our review partners share this data with us, so we can link the review to your order, restaurant visit, or hotel visit and use your feedback to improve our service. In the case of a fiscal or criminal investigation by the government, Parc Broekhuizen may be obliged by law to share your data. In such a case, we are forced to share your data, but we will oppose this within the scope of the law.
Your rights
Under applicable Dutch and European legislation, you, as the data subject, have certain
rights regarding the personal data processed by or on behalf of us. Below follows an explanation of these rights and how you may invoke them.
Right of Inspection
You always have the right to inspect the data we process (or have processed) that pertains to you or can be traced back to you. You may submit a request to our contact person for privacy affairs for this purpose. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a copy of all the data related to you to the email address we have on file, along with a list of processors who hold this data, indicating the category under which we have stored this data.
Right of Correction or Erasure
You always have the right to have the data we process (or have processed), that pertains
to you or can be traced back to you, rectified. You have the right to view, correct, and erase your personal data. This can be done by yourself via the link included in our email newsletters. You can also submit a request to us via our privacy contact (see at the bottom of this document).
Right to Restrict Processing
You always have the right to restrict the processing of personal data that pertains to you or can be traced back to you. You may submit a request to our privacy affairs contact for this purpose. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send a confirmation to the email address we have on file, stating that the data will no longer be processed until you lift the restriction.
Right of Portability and/or Right to Object
If you wish to exercise your right to object and/or right to data portability, or if you have other questions/comments about data processing, please send a detailed request to our privacy contact. To ensure that the request for inspection has been made by you, we ask you to attach a copy of your identification document to the request. In this copy, please black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone: the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number, and Citizen Service Number (BSN). Doing so protects your privacy. Parc Broekhuizen will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within 30 days at the latest. Parc Broekhuizen would also like to remind you that you have the option to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority, at any time if you suspect that we are using your personal data improperly. Parc Broekhuizen takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate

We reserve the right to revise our privacy policy at any time. However, you will always find the most recent version on this page. If the new privacy policy affects how we process data already collected about you, we will notify you by email.
